The Anti-discrimination Students Movement called a press conference to take legal actions against those who had conducted and led brutal attacks in Dhaka University campus from July 15 to July 17.
The press conference will be held at Payra Chattar of TSC in DU on Monday around 3 pm.
A message signed and sent by Abdullah Salehin Ayan, the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, said , "In the said press conference, information and evidence related to the barbaric attack conducted from July 15 to 17 will be shared and action plans will be announced. Through it, every terrorist and mastermind involved in this barbaric attack will be brought to justice.”
Note that Anti-Discrimination Student Movement is an organization of ordinary students of Bangladesh. The organization was created on July 1.
With the aim of reforming the quota, the students protesting under the banner of 'Anti-discrimination Student Movement' have continuously organized four-point demands since July 1. Meanwhile, on July 15, the protesters gathered at the TSC area to hold a rally and started shouting slogans. Later they entered Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall premises to take other students with them. After that, when they went to Bijoy Ekatar Hall, the protestors clashed with the Chhatra League. In this way, two consecutive days i.e., 16 and 17 July there were heavy clash and confrontation.
