The British Council has opened applications for its Connections Through Culture (CTC) Grants 2025, offering up to £10,000 in funding to support collaborative cultural projects between the UK and it’s partner countries, including Bangladesh.
Approximately 90 grants—each worth up to £5,000 or £10,000—are expected to be awarded this year to support new artistic collaborations around the world, according to a media release.
The grants cover a wide range of disciplines, including architecture, design, fashion and craft, theatre, dance and circus, literature, film and creative technology, visual arts, music, and multidisciplinary initiatives. Projects can be digital, physical, or hybrid in format.
The initiative aims to empower artists and creative organisations to develop and deliver impactful cultural programmes that foster international dialogue and artistic exchange.
Eligible projects may include residencies, performances, policy labs, exhibitions, research and development, or any initiative that encourages dialogue, mutual understanding, and long-term international collaboration.
Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the British Council’s official website for eligibility criteria and application procedures.
The application deadline is June 23 at 8pm (Bangladesh time).
Last year, the programme supported 84 collaborative projects globally, including four in Bangladesh.
The grant is open to initiatives scheduled to start and end between October 2025 and October 31, 2026.
