The Israeli regime has claimed the lives of dozens of Palestinians in a fresh round of aggression across the Gaza Strip as the occupying entity ratchets up its unbridled onslaught on the besieged territory, Press TV reported.
Media reports cited medical sources as saying that the fatalities occurred after the Israeli military targeted with missiles various areas in the north and center of Gaza on Wednesday.
The sources said the raids had also left a total of 27 Palestinians injured in the northern regions of the territory.
IDF bombed in the early hours of the day a residential building in Beit Lahiya, near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, which has been under a tight siege for more than two months.
The attack on the area killed at least 28 people, including women and children, with the high possibility of the death toll rising as the multistory building was reported to have accommodated at least 30 displaced people.
Later in the day, another attack on a residential home in the densely populated Nuseirat refugee camp killed seven people, all members of the same family.
The Palestinian Civil Emergency Service said another two people were killed by an Israeli air raid on a house in Gaza City.
