Bangladesh will travel to the Maldives next month to take part in a four-nation football tournament scheduled to be held in June.
The tournament is being organized as part of the Maldives’ Independence Day celebrations and will run from June 1 to June 10.
The event, titled the “Diamond Jubilee International Football Tournament,” will feature hosts Maldives, along with Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
Bangladesh will open their campaign against Pakistan on June 1 at the National Football Stadium in Male. In the second match of the day, the hosts will face Afghanistan.
On June 4, Pakistan will take on the host nation, while Bangladesh will meet Afghanistan under floodlights.
The “Green Shirts” will play their final league match against Afghanistan on June 7.
After the league stage, the top two teams will face each other in the final, scheduled to be held at the same venue on June 10.
