Mirpur Test experienced a moment of chaos on day three when a strong earthquake shook the capital and surrounding regions. The incident occurred during the second ball of the 56th over bowled by Mehidy Hasan Miraz, forcing an immediate stoppage in play.
Players quickly moved away from the pitch towards the boundary line, while spectators inside the stadium were visibly panicked.
Journalists also rushed out of the press box as the tremors continued.
The match remained suspended for nearly three minutes before resuming.
