Following Mushfiqur Rahim’s milestone hundred, Litton Das has also brought up a century against visitor Ireland.
Das reached three figures on Thursday during the first innings of the second Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Earlier in the morning, Mushfiqur, who resumed on 99, completed his hundred in his 100th Test by taking a single off pacer Jordan Neal on the third ball. All eyes were on him at that moment.
On the other hand, Litton carried on his work. He notched up the fifth Test century of his career. This match also marks his 100th appearance in first-class cricket, and Litton made the occasion memorable with a fine hundred.
Litton’s previous Test century came in August last year against Pakistan in Rawalpindi.
Bangladesh posted 387 runs in 120 overs for 5 wickets before lunch break.
