Road accident: 1 killed, 2 injured in Gazipur

Road accident: 1 killed, 2 injured in Gazipur

A passenger was killed and two others were injured after being struck by a bus while traveling in an autorickshaw in Konabari area of Gazipur this morning (March 30).

The identities of the victims have not been confirmed yet, said S M Ashraful Alam, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP).

The accident occurred when a speeding bus hit an autorickshaw, leaving a male passenger dead on the spot and two others injured.

Locals rushed to help and took the injured to a nearby hospital, the Deputy Police Commissioner added.
