Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday forecasted that weather may remain dry over the country for the next 24 hours begins from this morning, reports BSS.
"Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country", said the forecast begins from 9am Monday.
The well-marked low pressure area over west central Bay of Bengal weakened into a low pressure area over the same area and has become unimportant. Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during midnight till morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 30.5 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda and minimum temperature was recorded 10.4 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
