On Tuesday, Law Adviser Asif Nazrul announced that the interim government plans to replace the existing Cyber Security Act with a new proposed Cyber Protection Act.
Briefing the press about the law ministry's achievement during the first 100 days of his tenure, the law adviser said the government was also in the process of instituting regulations for appointing Supreme Court judges.
Asif said the amended International Crimes Tribunal Act was ready to be put up for adoption by the cabinet. He expects that this would be done in a day or two.
