In the biggest reshuffle of police administration in a decade, as many as 50 superintendents of police have sent to new postings, an official said on Thursday, reports UNB.
The senior official at Police headquarters told the news agency that the 25 SPs have recently been transferred because of their promotion as additional deputy inspector general.
Another 25 SPs have also been transferred to different districts, he said.
He said this has been done as part a regular reshuffle.
Police Section-1 of the Public Security Division under the home ministry issued two separate notifications in this regard on Wednesday.
