New travel app Vromonika listed for seamless trip to Cox's Bazar

Cox's Bazar, home to the world’s longest natural beach, is one of Bangladesh’s most popular tourist destinations, attracting millions of visitors every year. To enhance the travel experience for both local and international tourists, the District Administration of Cox's Bazar has launched the Vromonika app, a comprehensive personal travel guide designed to offer convenience, safety, and essential information at your fingertips.

This all-in-one app serves as an indispensable companion, providing a one-stop solution for everything tourists need to know about Cox's Bazar, from attractions and transportation to accommodations and safety.

Once downloaded, users are greeted with travel instructions, safety tips, and vital warnings to ensure a smooth visit. The app is organized into 12 sections, offering a wealth of information that includes over 45 must-see destinations, such as Inani Beach, Himchhari, Labani, Kalatali, Sugandha, St. Martin, Maheshkhali, and Sonadia Island. Each attraction is accompanied by Google Maps links, local accommodation options, recommended eateries, and the best times to visit.

In addition to sightseeing, the app provides practical information on how to reach Cox’s Bazar via bus, train, ship, and air. It also includes online booking options for bus tickets, direct links to railway websites, and contact details for transport counters at key points like bus terminals, airports, and ship docks.

For those seeking accommodation, the Vromonika app lists a variety of options, from hotels and motels to resorts and guesthouses. As of now, 37 accommodations in Cox’s Bazar are featured, complete with addresses and contact numbers. This information is regularly updated, ensuring that users have access to the latest options for their stay.

Safety is a major priority for tourists, particularly on the beach where the sea can be unpredictable. The Vromonika app prioritizes safety with real-time tide schedules, weather forecasts, and alerts for dangerous zones on the beach. It provides crucial details on potential hazards, such as strong currents and hidden canals, helping tourists make informed decisions and avoid accidents.

Additionally, the app includes direct contact numbers for emergency services, including the District Administration Tourism Cell, Tourist Police, medical assistance, ambulances, and lifeguards. This ensures that help is always just a tap away in case of an emergency.

The app also offers information on a variety of beach activities such as horseback riding, bike rentals, jet skis, and mobile photographers, with contact details for each service. This feature allows tourists to plan their beach adventures hassle-free and ensures a more enjoyable vacation experience.

Tourism in Cox’s Bazar is booming. Last December, over 2.5 million visitors flocked to the beach, breaking previous records. With this surge in visitors, the Vromonika app comes as a timely solution to streamline access to essential information, ensuring tourists can find everything they need without confusion or delay.

Abul Kashem Sikder, President of the Cox’s Bazar Hotel Guesthouse Owners Association, hailed the app as an invaluable tool for both tourists and locals. He noted that it enables users to plan their trip, book accommodations, and purchase tickets in advance, saving time and effort.

Mohammad Salahuddin, Cox’s Bazar’s Deputy Commissioner, emphasized that the app was designed as a "personal travel guide" to eliminate any inconveniences for tourists and ensure a seamless experience from start to finish. He praised the app for making all necessary information easily accessible, helping tourists navigate their journey with confidence.

The Vromonika app is set to transform travel to Cox's Bazar by offering a comprehensive and convenient platform for all essential travel information. By combining everything from sightseeing tips and transport details to safety measures and accommodation options in one app, it promises to enhance the tourist experience and ensure a safe, enjoyable visit to one of the world’s most beautiful beaches.

With its user-friendly interface and wealth of information, the Vromonika app is truly a game-changer for those looking to explore Cox's Bazar, making it easier than ever to plan and enjoy a trip to this stunning coastal destination.
