Iran is unbeatable and unblockable, Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia, spokesman for the Iranian Army, stated, warning that any new act of aggression would be met with the opening of “new fronts” using fresh tactics and tools, Al Mayadeen reported.
Akrami Nia said that if the enemy “commits a foolish act and falls again into the trap of the Zionists” by attacking Iran, the country’s armed forces would respond with unprecedented methods.
His comments come amid heightened tensions following statements by US President Donald Trump, who claimed he had halted a planned military strike on Iran at the request of Qatari, Saudi, and Emirati leaders, while simultaneously warning that a “full-scale attack” could proceed at any moment if no acceptable nuclear deal is reached.
The Iranian general emphasized that the presence of Iranian citizens in nighttime gatherings across the country plays a key role in foiling enemy plots. He added that this popular mobilization directly boosts the morale and motivation of Iranian armed forces personnel.
Separately, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s Parliament, warned that any aggression against Iran would receive a “stronger response". He said Iran is prepared for all possible scenarios.
In a direct message to the United States, Rezaei declared that Americans must either “submit to diplomacy and Iran’s terms” or “submit to the power of Iran’s missiles.”
Earlier this week, Trump claimed he had called off a planned military strike on Iran at the request of Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, citing “serious negotiations currently underway.”
However, Trump also indicated that the US should be “prepared to move forward with a full-scale attack on Iran at any moment if an acceptable deal is not reached,” according to his statements.
