Iraqi armed group claims attack on Israel

Iraq based armed group The Islamic Resistance said that it launched an attack on a “vital target” in southern Israel using drones, reports Al Jazeera.

The group of Iran-backed militias said the attack was in solidarity with the people of Gaza and Lebanon.

It has been launching near-daily attacks on Israel. The Israeli military says most of the drones have been intercepted.
