Hamas spokesperson Osama Hamdan said on Tuesday that the organization is not concerned about the outcome of the US election.
In a video statement he made the remark expressing his hope that the new president will listen to Americans who oppose Israeli occupation and the war in Gaza.
Whatever the result is, it will not affect the movement or Palestinians, he said, adding, “The previous and current administrations were partners of Zionist entity in its war and aggression against our people and our national cause”.
“The new administration must listen to the voices raised by the American community that reject the occupation and Zionist aggression and who object to supporting it,” he hoped.
The video statement came in the time when the entire world is waiting for the election result of the United States.
