The Israel Defece Forces (IDF) said that a soldier of IDF was killed by a grenade explosion in the northern Gaza, reports TOI.
It also stated that the soldier was killed on Saturday, adding an investigation is underway to investigate into the circumstances
It said, “The Military Police has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the deadly incident, which was apparently not directly related to the fighting.”
Previously, early Saturday the IDF announced that two soldiers was died during fighting in Northern Gaza.
However, the IDF doesn’t announce the soldier’s identity.
He is named by local authorities as Shneur Zalman Cohen, 20, from the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar.
