Secretary of Bangladesh embassy in the United States’s Michigan, Mohammod Abdul Hye Milton got assaulted by a group of seven-eight people who tried to give him memorandum on Sunday night at the bank of Detroit River.
The incident occurred when Milton refused to accept memorandum. Rather he suggested send it to embassy’s mail. They got angry by this and began to abuse Milton.
In a press briefing on Monday Michigan embassy authority said the authorities have stopped the services of the consulate of Michigan in the case of harassment of embassy’s secretary which was ordered from the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington.
Earlier, Bangladesh Embassy in Washington launched a four-day mobile camp from Friday to Monday at Michigan to facilitate consular services for expatriate Bangladeshis.
