Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) led by its President Sayem Sobhan Anvir is more dynamic to push the sector forward.
This was said by central leaders of BAJUS at a view-exchange meeting with Brahmanbaria unit office bearers and stakeholders at a district venue on Saturday.
“BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir is determined to prevent gold smuggling and other irregularities in the sector. He wants the gold traders to continue business with honesty and transparency. If anybody resorts to unfair means, the organisation will not be with him,” they said.
District unit leaders and activists accorded honour to BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir received by the central leaders on his behalf, reports Daily Sun.
BAJUS Brahmanbaria district president Sankar Banik presided over the programme which was addressed by member secretary of the Standing Committee on Law and Membership Md Ripnul Hasan and member of Standing Committee on district monitoring Pabitra Chandra Ghose and member Pranab Saha.
