Egypt offers on-arrival visas for Bangladeshis

African county Egypt will welcome people with Bangladeshi passports without prior visas on conditions.

Bangladesh Embassy in Cairo revealed the information on Thursday.

The decision came at a meeting between the Bangladesh Embassy in Cairo and the Asia Affairs Assistant Foreign Minister of Egypt on August 15.

According to the Bangladesh Embassy, a Bangladeshi traveller will receive a visa on-arrival in Cairo if he or she has already visited Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and 26 Schengen countries.

The new rules will be valid for one year, it added.
