Bangladesh received $159.47 crore (Around Tk 17,063) in remittances in November 2022 which is slightly more than October and the highest in the last three months.
The updated report of the Bangladesh Bank revealed the information on Thursday.
According to the remittance inflow review, expatriates sent a total of $159.47 crore remittances in the November 2002-2023 fiscal year which was $152.54 crore in October. This means $5.96 crore more remittance has come into the country in the just concluded month.
On the other hand, $4 crore more remittance has come in November this year than in the same period of the last year.
Bangladesh received a $155.37 crore remittance from its expatriates across the globe in 2021.
