Bangladesh Bank (BB) head office has taken the initiative to sell 25kg of gold in an auction.
The process to sell 25kg or 2,170 bhori gold will start this month.
According to the central bank, registered gold businessmen would be able to purchase tender schedules by paying Tk 2,000 (non-refundable) and submitting the necessary documentation.
Later, eligible applicants will be selected for participation in an auction. Regarding the auction, an advertisement was published in the media by the Motijheel office of the bank concerned at the beginning of this month, it added.
