WhatsApp has announced several new privacy update on Tuesday, including ability for users to check new messages without other people knowing it.
The social media platform will soon allow people to control who can see when they're online, prevent others from taking screenshots of certain messages, one can leave groups without notifying entire channels, reports CNN.
Globally WhatsApp has more than 2 billion users. It is owned by Facebook’s parent Meta.
Comapany’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, "keep building new ways to protect your messages and keep them as private and secure as face-to-face conversations."
