The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today (February 13) forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country with chances of having light rain in one or two places in the next 24 hours beginning from this morning.
"There are chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions", said the forecast begins from 9 am today.
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from late night to morning while night temperature may fall by (1-2)°C and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.
A ridge of sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining areas and seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
Country's maximum temperature yesterday (February 12) was recorded at 31.6°C at Patuakhali and the minimum temperature today was recorded at 11.2°C at Tetulia.
The sunset today at 5:52 pm and rises tomorrow at 6:32 am in the capital.
