Arrest warrants against Hasina, 10 others

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has issued arrest warrants against 11 people including ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina in connection with the disappearances during the 15-year rule of the Awami League.

The two-member tribunal headed by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mazumdar issued the order on Monday following a prosecution application.

Among others named in the warrant list are hasina’s former defence adviser Major General (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddique and former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed were among those people.
