Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet division, said the weather department on Friday.
According to the latest weather bulletin of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Barishal divisions.
The day and the night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius in Rangamati and the minimum temperature was 25.5 degrees Celsius in Madaripur, Tetulia, Rangamati, Feni, Kutubdia, and Chuadanga respectively.
The met office said the highest rainfall in the last 24 hours (Till 6 am Friday) was recorded at 1mm in Sandwip, Rangamati and Kutubdia respectively.
The sun sets at 6:23 pm today (Friday) and rises at 5:38 am tomorrow (Saturday) in Dhaka.
