Two killed in Khagrachari road mishap

Two people were killed and three others injured as a log-laden truck overturned in Guimara upazila of Khagrachari on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Md Raju, 35, and Md Ilias, 36.

The incident took place at 8 am when the truck driver lost his control over the steering and it (Truck) overturned beside the road, leaving two workers dead on the spot and wounded three others, said Guimara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Rashid.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.

The physical condition of one injured is critical, he added.
