The Judiciary Reform Commission has prepared a draft with some recommendations including decentralization of the Judiciary and setting up institutes to impart training to the lawyers.
The commission has made the recommendations following discussion with the stakeholders in different times, Judicial Reform Commission sources said.
The deadline for the commission's work has been fixed on January 3 and some recommendations are being drafted by the last working day of the deadline, reports BSS.
Apart from these, the reform commission in its draft also recommended regarding the process of appointment of high court judges and necessary disciplinary action and rules of removal for the judges.
The commission however, proposed for decentralization of high court and its affiliated lower courts at divisional levels and increasing of the number of lawyer courts at upazila levels across the country.
About 80 percent of the work has already been completed and all the recommendations will be put forward to the government soon after the completion of some official works, the source added.
The Judiciary Reform Commission was formed on October 3 with the approval of the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government to propose necessary reforms to make the judiciary independent, impartial and effective.
