Additional Director General (Planning and Development) of the Department of Health Professor Dr. Meerjady Sabrina Flora was admitted to a hospital in Singapore.
Spokesperson of the Department of Health and the director of the disease control branch Md. Nazmul Islam disclosed this matter on Sunday.
He said as Sabrina Flora's physical condition worsened, she went to the National University Hospital of Singapore for treatment. She had already visited the hospital for a check-up due to an illness of cholangitis.
Later, she was admitted there after some physical complications.
Meerjady Sabrina Flora is an epidemiologist and public health expert. She was the director of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
