Bangladesh set to welcome champions

An open-top bus awaits the Bangladesh Women's Football Team upon their return home on Wednesday after winning the SAFF Women 2022 Champion trophy.

They will land in Dhaka with the trophy at noon. The team is scheduled to reach the airport at 1:50 PM.

State Minister Zahid Ahsan Russell will receive them at the airport. The girls will then go to the Bangladesh Football Federation building with the trophy in Motijheel. There, Bangladesh Football Federation President Kazi Salahuddin will welcome them again.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports opened the roof of a BRTC double-decker bus and prepared it for the parade of champions.

The bus will go from the airport via Banani, Mohakhali, in front of the Prime Minister's office, and take a left through the Bijoy Sarani flyover. The footballers will reach BFF Bhavan via Tejgaon, Kakrail, Fakirapool, and Arambagh.
