Light to moderate rain or thundershowers in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours may occur, commencing at 9am today, forecasted Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Khulna division and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country," said metrological department in a bulletin issued on Monday morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.3 degrees Celsius in Srimangal, while today's minimum temperature was 23.1 degrees Celsius in Srimangal.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded 44 mm in Chattogram.
The sun sets at 5:58 pm today and rises at 5:47 am tomorrow in the capital.
