Israel continues targeting of residential areas across Gaza, with 214 people killed in last 24 hours, reports Al Jazeera.
Each standing house in Gaza now contains multiple families because they have taken shelter after either being displaced or having their homes destroyed.
Ambulances and rescue teams are unable to reach people buried under the rubble due to debris and damaged roads.
The families cannot find a place to bury their loved ones because the graveyards are full.
About 50 per cent of all housing units have been destroyed or damaged in Israel’s month-long strikes, said Balakrishnan Rajagopal, UN special rapporteur on the right to adequate housing.
At least 10,569 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.
In Israel, the death toll over the same period stands at more than 1,400.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society says Israeli bombardment has been ongoing since last night in the vicinity of al-Quds Hospital from the western side.
“All roads to the hospital are closed. Medical teams are unable to leave the hospital to reach the injured persons,” it said on X.
