The closing and prize distribution ceremony of the Inter-Base Football Competition-2025 of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held at the football ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar, Dhaka, on Thursday last.
Bangladesh Air Force Base Bir Uttam A K Khandker team clinched the title by defeating Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque by a 2-0 goal in the competition.
Flying Officer Abdullah of the Air Force Base Bashar team was adjudged as the best player, said a media release on Saturday.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad witnessed the final match as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners.
Air Officer Commanding, senior BAF officers, airmen and other members of the host base were present on the occasion.
Earlier on June 29, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal Khair-ul-Afsar, inaugurated the competition.
A total of seven teams of the Bangladesh Air Force participated in this five-day-long competition.
