The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday announced a 28-member High Performance (HP) core squad for the 2025–26 season, aiming to strengthen the country’s cricketing pipeline.
The selected players will undergo an intensive training programme until August to enhance their skills and overall development.
A screening test for the cricketers began on Saturday and will conclude on Monday.
As part of the training schedule, the HP squad will leave for Chattogram on June 16. The first phase of the training camp will run from June 17 to July 14 in Chattogram.
The second phase will begin on July 16 in Rajshahi, following the squad’s transfer there on July 15, and continue until August 13.
