Shadman Islam struck his second Test century – and first since 2021 – with a composed innings against Zimbabwe on Monday.
The left-hander brought up the milestone in the 42nd over, driving Richard Ngarava for a boundary to reach triple figures off 142 balls.
He had earlier reached his half-century from 78 deliveries.
Shadman struck 16 fours during the innings, his most in a single Test knock – surpassing his previous best of 12 boundaries.
His maiden century had also come against Zimbabwe, in Harare in July 2021. But this was the first time he reached three figures on home soil.
Bangladesh were 150 for one at the end of the 42nd over, with Shadman unbeaten on 101 off 145 balls. Mominul Haque was on nine from 27 deliveries.
