“Rockstar”, starring Shakib Khan, is set to make its international rollout this week. The film will be released in theatres across three countries from 5 June.
The film will be screened at 41 theatres across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom on 5 June, said Sajib Saptak, head of its international distributor Swapna Scarecrow.
The film will run in 30 theatres in the US, 7 in Canada and 4 in the UK during its first week. In the US, it will be screened on 19 AMC screens, 7 Regal screens, 2 Cinemark screens and 2 Showcase screens. The film will also run on 7 Cineplex screens in Canada and 4 Cineworld screens in the UK.
More screens may be added in the coming weeks if audience response remains positive.
Directed by Azman Rusho, Rockstar has been running in 103 theatres across Bangladesh since Eid day. The film also stars Sabila Nur, Tangia Zaman Methila and Sunidhi Nayak.
