The much-loved on-screen chemistry between Shakib Khan and Sabila Nur is set to captivate audience once again. After drawing attention with their pairing in “Taandob” last year, the duo returns in the upcoming musical romantic film “Rockstar”, slated for release this Eid-ul-Azha.
Although the film had remained under wraps for quite some time, a newly released poster on Thursday evening has reignited excitement and speculation among fans.
The poster features Shakib and Sabila in a serene, romantic setting surrounded by lush greenery. Sabila is seen resting her head gently on Shakib’s shoulder with her eyes closed, while Shakib appears equally immersed in the moment, creating an emotionally charged cinematic image.
Adding to the intrigue, the poster was accompanied by a lyrical caption: “The fire is burning, time is stopping, and I’m with you only…,” hinting at the film’s strong musical elements alongside its romantic narrative. This suggests that music will play a significant role in shaping the film’s storytelling and emotional depth.
“Rockstar” is being produced by Sun Communication, the banner behind critically acclaimed films like Monpura and Hawa, and is directed by Azman Russo. Filming began in Malaysia last month and is currently ongoing in multiple locations. With more than half of the shooting already completed, production is expected to wrap up in the first week of May, setting the stage for a highly anticipated Eid release.
