Singer Mainul Ahsan Noble arrested over alleged harassment of young woman.
Police on Monday arrested Noble from the Bottola area under Siddhirganj Police Station in Narayanganj around 12:30 pm. He is currently in police custody.
Murad Hossain, Detective Inspector (Investigation) of Demra Police, confirmed the arrest.
According to police, Noble faces allegations of detaining a young woman under the pretext of marriage and attempting harassment, including taking objectionable photos. An arrest warrant had been issued against him by the court in connection with the case, based on which he was arrested.
Noble will be produced before the court following legal procedures, said the police.
