Renowned actor Afran Nisho will make his long-awaited return to the big screen with the release of his new film "Daagi" during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. After a two-year break, he is set to appear in big screen once again.
The actor made the official announcement on Sunday, offering it as a special gift to his fans on his birthday.
In addition to Nisho, actors Tama Mirza and Sunerah Binte Kamal will also appear in the movie, which is directed by Shihab Shaheen.
“Daagi” is a story-based movie. It is basically about the journey of a hero’s redemption and atonement. Director Shihab Shaheen said, “I have tried to show the audience something new. The audience here has not seen this kind of story before. I have been working on this movie for the last two years.”
Similarly, Tama Mirza is going to return to the movie after a long hiatus. She said, “It is a mix of challenge and peace for me. Whether we can meet the expectations of the audience or not is a challenge, but on the other hand, it is a relief that we are able to return to a good production despite the delay. I really liked the story of Daagi.”
