Advance Eid train tickets to go on sale from March 3

Bangladesh Railway has announced the schedule for advance train ticket sales ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr to ease the travel of homebound passengers.

The railway authorities said on Tuesday that online sales of advance tickets will begin on March 3. Return tickets will go on sale from March 23.

According to the decision, tickets will again be sold in two phases for the country’s two railway zones. Tickets for all intercity trains operating in the Western Zone\ will be available in the morning, while tickets for trains operating in the Eastern Zone will be sold in the afternoon.

The authorities also said that five pairs-20 special trains in total will be added for Eid this time.
