Mirza Abbas, Rizvi named among 10 new advisers

Mirza Abbas, Rizvi named among 10 new advisers

The government has appointed 10 advisers to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, said a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Tuesday.

Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani signed the notification ordered by President Mohammed Shahabuddin.

Five of the advisers will hold the rank of a minister, and the other five will enjoy status of state ministers.

The five advisers with rank of a minister are: Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Md Ismail Zabihullah, and Dr Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir.

The advisers with rank of state ministers are: Humayun Kabir, Brig Gen (retd) Shamsul Islam, Dr Zahedur Rahman, Mahdi Amin, and Rehan Asif Asad.
