The government on Monday cancelled the contract of Chief Adviser's Principal Secretary M Sirajuddin Miah for the remaining period in response to his application.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Monday night.
Earlier on Monday, Sirajuddin Miah has submitted his resignation letter.
Sirajuddin Miah had been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Chief Adviser on a two-year contractual basis on October 2, 2024. Accordingly, his tenure was scheduled to continue until September this year.
