Chief of Army Staff Waker-Uz-Zaman on Sunday paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser of the interim government Muhammad Yunus at the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO) in the capital’s Tejgaon area, reports BSS.
During the meeting, the two exchanged greetings and briefly discussed matters related to carrying out their respective responsibilities during the tenure of the interim administration, according to a statement issued by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.
Professor Yunus expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Army Chief for the cooperation extended by the Bangladesh Army during his tenure, particularly for its support during the recent national parliament elections.
