Qatar’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi held a telephone conversation with BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, congratulating him on the party’s victory in the parliamentary election.
The phone call took place on Sunday, State Minister Al Khulaifi said.
In a post on his X handle, the Qatari minister said, “This morning, I spoke with the chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and extended my warm congratulations on his party’s success in the parliamentary election.”
“I look forward to further strengthening the bonds of constructive cooperation between Qatar and Bangladesh across different sectors, in order to advance the mutual interests of our two friendly countries,” he added.
