Tarique visits Nahid’s residence

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman visited the residence of NCP Convener and MP-elect Nahid Islam on Sunday night.

Tarique arrived at Nahid’s residence at 5 Circuit House Road in the capital at around 8:27 pm. He was received by NCP leaders upon his arrival.

Earlier in the evening, at around 7:00 pm, the BNP chairman visited the residence of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman.

According to party sources, the courtesy call was intended to discuss the post-election situation, political coexistence, and prospects for future cooperation.
