Elected MP from Lakshmipur-3 constituency and BNP joint secretary general Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie said, “Minor incidents are happening in the country. However, if the oath-taking is done quickly, the law and order situation will improve.”
He said this in front of the chairman's office in Gulshan on Sunday afternoon. Annie said that the party will clarify what the BNP will do before the oath-taking regarding the condition that the head of government and the party chief cannot be the same person.
He said he, along with MP from Tangail-5 constituency and BNP publicity secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, is coordinating and supervising all preparations to ensure a smooth swearing-in ceremony, and a coordination meeting was held in this regard at the office of the chief advisor on Sunday.
