A total of 76,580 Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims so far have completed registration for the Hajj-2026 against the total 78,500 expected Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims.
“A total of 76,580 people including 72,344 under private management while 4,260 of government management have so far registered to perform Hajj in 2026 according to the Saudi government's Hajj roadmap,” said Md Abu Bakor Siddik, senior information officer, the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
He said that apart from the general pilgrims, medical team, Hajj guide, administrative team, technical team and others will also visit Saudi Arabia to assist the Hajis (Pilgrims).
“The ministry sends a list of those people to the Saudi authority for approval,” he said.
The Saudi government's roadmap is that the pilgrims will have to complete the final registration on October 16, 2025. The government opened the registration for the 2026 Hajj on July 27, 2025.
