Voicing his commitment to stand by the people of Karail in any trouble, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman said that better education and medical treatment will be ensured for the slum dwellers.
Tarique Rahman made this commitment while attending a prayer meeting organized by the people of Karail on Tuesday to seek the forgiveness for the soul of the late Begum Khaleda Zia. His wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman was also present at the prayer meeting.
Before the prayer meeting, Tarique Rahman said, "I want to make the mothers and sisters prosperous, who were provided free education by Begum Khaleda Zia financially. For that, I want to deliver the family card to you. But everything will depend only on the mercy of the Almighty. Allah is Rahmanur Rahim. If Allah gives us the ability, if Allah has mercy on us, only then we will be successful in our works.”
Tarique Rahman further said, “If Allah gives us the opportunity, we want to gradually solve the problem that you are facing. We want to build high-rise buildings here. We will register small flats in the names of the people who live here, and want to give those flats in their names.”
