Bangladesh has achieved a remarkable feat on the international stage by setting a Guinness World Record for most flags flown simultaneously while skydiving, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The record was established on 16 December 2025, Victory Day, during a special parachute jump in Dhaka where 54 national flags soared in the sky at the same time, showcasing the country’s unity, courage, and skill.
The extraordinary event featured Bangladesh Armed Forces’ expert skydivers, including trained paratroopers like Ashiq Chowdhury (BIDA). It was planned and executed by the Armed Forces Division (AFD).
With this achievement, the 54-member "Team Bangladesh" has officially become a Guinness World Records title holder.
Guinness World Records management noted that the initiative aimed to mark the nation’s 54th Victory Day internationally and bring together skydivers from across the country, sending a powerful message of national unity, bravery, and capability.
According to ISPR, this accomplishment highlights Bangladesh’s confidence, discipline, and the professionalism of its armed forces. The red-and-green spectacle is now recorded in history and will continue to inspire future generations.
