BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir stated on Friday that Tarique Rahman's return to Bangladesh has breathed new life into the country's political landscape, instilling fresh hope and optimism among the people. Speaking to the media before paying homage to BNP founder Shaheed Ziaur Rahman at Zia Udyan in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Fakhrul emphasized that the public has welcomed Tarique Rahman’s return as a beacon of change.
“Tarique Rahman’s arrival has rekindled the dreams of the people of Bangladesh,” Fakhrul said. “People are now beginning to dream again, and Tarique Rahman is at the center of this newfound hope.”
The BNP leader described the return of Tarique Rahman as more than just a political event. “This is the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Bangladesh,” he declared. “It’s not only a political shift, but also a positive transformation in the country's politics. After a long period of stagnation, a fresh breeze has started blowing.”
Fakhrul also expressed his strong belief that under Tarique Rahman’s leadership, Bangladesh would be on a path toward a truly democratic state. He further added that Rahman’s vision for the welfare of the people would be faithfully executed.
“Tarique Rahman will not just talk about change, but will implement the long-term plans he has for the welfare of the people, ensuring that they are fulfilled to the letter,” Fakhrul said.
Fakhrul’s comments came as a part of the BNP’s ongoing efforts to mobilize support under the leadership of Tarique Rahman, who is seen by many as the key to the party's future success.
