The outgoing President of Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) and Chairman of Anvir Bashundhara Group (ABG) Sayem Sobhan Anvir has been designated as the Chief Adviser of BAJUS.
Besides, Diamond and Divas owner Enamul Haque Khan Dolon has taken charge as the President of BAJUS for the second time.
The handover of responsibilities to the newly elected Board of Directors of the organization was taken place on Monday afternoon at the BAJUS office in Eskaton in the capital.
After the handover of responsibilities, the first meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors was held.
At the meeting, Sayem Sobhan Anvir was unanimously nominated as the Chief Adviser and all the former Presidents of the organization were nominated as members of the Advisory Board.
BAJUS Senior Vice-President Ranjit Ghosh, Vice-President Md Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury, Azad Ahmed and Abhi Roy, and others have addressed the meeting.
