BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman has said that the country's independence and sovereignty are safe with it.
He said this while virtually joining the third day of the BNP's 'Plan to Build a Country' program held at the Krishibid Institution Auditorium in the capital's Farmgate on Tuesday.
Tarique Rahman said, "As a political party, the people do not like us to talk nonsense. The people expect from us how we will run the country, how we will solve their problems. The people want to see the entire plan from us. Only BNP has the detailed planning to move the country forward, not any other party."
He said, “The country's independence and sovereignty are safe with BNP. If the country and the people cannot be taken on its side, questions will arise about the country's existence in the future. It is not possible to build a country by keeping division and differences.”
The acting chairman of BNP also commented that although many have made various statements, no one has presented as much detail as BNP on how the country will be run if it comes to power.
He said that if BNP comes to power, 'family cards' will be given to four crore families and the state's facilities will be delivered to the doorsteps of the people.
Regarding law and order, Tarique Rahman said that the law and order situation in the country must be brought under control at any cost, and judgment will be made through the law, not from a party perspective.
He also said, “BNP has played a major role in curbing corruption. If it is able to form a government, it will aim to build self-reliant mothers and self-reliant families.”
